Take a Break and Play No Matter What

I believe in work, hard work. It is really important to dedicate yourself to something, or several things, and get to work. Work is necessary but so is play. Take the time to enjoy yourself no matter where you are in life! When I found out that I had two months of down time before my mission I thought that it would be the most boring two months of my life, all of my friends are on missions or at college in a different state. However, I found that if you don't want your life to be boring it doesn't have to be. Take whatever situation that you are in and make the most of it. Love life :)

Today my little brother Matt and I sang and danced to Disney music as we made frosting. We made a blanket fort and had an Uno war. We experimented with hot chocolate. Most 19 year-old girls would think those things don't seem like that much fun, but I had a blast!
If life gives you lemons, make lemonade. You can take any sour situation and turn it into something that is sweet.

Farewell

This month one of my very best friends left to go a mission. Chelsea left on January 22nd. She will be a great missionary! The people in Gilbert are going to love her! She has been such a great example to me!

 Reflecting on 2013

2013 was the best year so far. I finally got used to the fact that it was 2013 and not 2012, and now it's over! Time flies by faster and faster as I get older. Thank you to everyone that made 2013 a year to remember.

Finished up my Senior Year of High School

My crazy, wonderful friends made the end of my senior year fantastic! We had so much fun!

This was at before senior prom. My mom made my dress.

Graduated from High School...

It was so exciting to finally finish high school! High school was a blast, but I was glad to be done with it.

And seminary

Had an absolutely AMAZING summer :)

We welcomed my older brother Jake home from his 2 year mission in Atlanta
Finger painted my friends
Roamed the town of Rexburg on scooters
Climbed some rocks
Saved some lives
Explored a cave
Caught some fish
Went to Lagoon

Goodbyes...

It was bittersweet to say goodbye to all my friends as they left to serve the Lord. I am so proud of all of them for choosing to serve a mission!

They are now all over the world: Africa, Australia, Kentucky, DC, El Salvador, Hong Kong...

Started College!

I absolutely love BYU! I made some awesome new friends and had so much fun! It was such a good experience to live on my own. I really liked my classes too. I love to learn :)

These girls are my favorite!
4 in the morning pranks...
This is the view from the top of the Y at night
BYU football games are the BEST!
I was on the kiss cam at a BYU basketball game! Check that off my bucket list :)
College Christmas Party
Fell in love with ballroom dance. Why haven't I been dancing my whole life??
We had a lot of fun in the snow

Called to Serve

I was so excited to get a mission call to Bolivia!

I had a very Happy 19th Birthday!

Me and my parents after I went through the temple for the first time.

Family

My year would not have been as good as it was if I didn't have the family I have. I love my family so much, and am so thankful that they are a part of my life!

Merry Christmas! Love the Hansens :)
And Chelsea. She's practically family!

 Goodbye 2013, Hello 2014!
